This policy explains how Base Twenty Three Auto General Repairing Co. L.L.C (BASE23 AUTO) handles personal information collected through www.base23auto.com and related enquiries.
1. Information you share
When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, telephone or WhatsApp number, optional email address, vehicle details, requested service, message and any vehicle photographs you attach. We also record the submission time, enquiry reference, email notification state and processing status.
Only send information and photographs needed to assess your request. Uploading photos is optional. Photos submitted with an enquiry are stored for private review by the workshop and are not automatically published in our portfolio. Publication of customer project photos is a separate matter for which permission should be agreed.
2. Why we use your information
We use these details to assess the requested work, respond using the contact details supplied, prepare quotations, arrange appointments, manage the enquiry and provide the services you request. We also use relevant information to maintain business records, resolve disputes and protect the website against misuse.
The enquiry checkbox asks for your agreement to being contacted about that request. It does not sign you up for unrelated marketing. We do not sell enquiry information or use the enquiry checkbox as consent for advertising messages. Depending on the purpose, processing may be based on your consent, steps you request before a service agreement, performance of that agreement or applicable legal obligations.
3. Hosting, email and external services
The website uses Sites hosting and associated Cloudflare infrastructure for website delivery, enquiry records and file storage. Google Workspace is used to notify the workshop about new enquiries. Notification emails contain the enquiry details and the number of uploaded photos; the photo files are viewed through the restricted workshop dashboard.
If you choose WhatsApp, your message and any media you send there are handled through WhatsApp/Meta. Google Maps, reviews, web fonts and external links may involve requests to Google or other providers. These services operate under their own privacy terms and may receive technical information such as your IP address when used or loaded.
Service providers may process information outside the UAE. Applicable data-protection requirements and the relevant provider arrangements govern such processing. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to handle a legal claim.
4. Cookies and technical information
Hosting, security and the owner's sign-in process may use cookies or similar technology needed to deliver and protect the website. Our current enquiry forms do not require a customer account. The website does not currently include a dedicated advertising pixel or Google Analytics tag. Embedded third-party services may apply their own technologies and policies.
5. Retention and access
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to manage enquiries, provide requested services and meet applicable recordkeeping, dispute or legal requirements. Not every record has the same retention period, and this website does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed number of days.
Enquiry records and uploaded photos are available through the restricted owner dashboard. We use access controls and service-provider safeguards to protect this information; no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your privacy requests
You can contact us to request access to or correction of your information, ask for deletion or restriction, or withdraw consent to future processing that relies on consent, subject to applicable law. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out lawfully. We may need to verify your identity and retain certain information where a legal requirement or a relevant claim applies.
Email info@base23auto.com with the subject “Privacy request” and enough detail to identify the enquiry, such as its reference. Please do not send unnecessary identity documents in your initial email. You may also raise concerns with the competent data-protection authority where applicable.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, services or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest published revision.
